What is the material used within the Magnetic Hock Boots for horses?
Equilibrium Magnetic Boots are made of a nylon inner and outer, with polyester fill. The fill provides enough warmth and padding but is not too thick, so the boot remains flexible and comfortable, while providing some warmth but not overheating the legs.
The inner layer is completely Velcro receptive too, so that our magnets can be placed anywhere throughout the boots – including over the hock joint.
Four magnets are supplied with each pair of boots. They are reasonably thin and flat, yet extremely flexible. This allows them to mould to the horses’ legs, should they need to be placed over a joint. Supplied in a small pouch, they can be placed anywhere within the magnetic boot lining with the simple hook and loop attachment. This allows you to target the magnets exactly where your horse needs them.
Which magnets are used and how do they work?
The body’s cells have electromagnetic properties which means they can be affected by a magnetic field. The magnets used in these Magnetic Hind and Hock Boots for horses and present two alternating poles to the body, negative and positive, making them different to standard neodymium magnets, which present only one pole. These strong, linear, and permanent magnetic fields of alternating pole sequences penetrate the body tissue.

• Every day as part of your horses’ daily routine for maintaining leg health. Usually overnight or in the day when stood in.
• For horses in work from hacking to competition. This includes horses returning to work or retraining.
• For older horses or those who are slow to warm up.
• Horses on box rest, standing in for long periods of time or on limited turnout.

What inspired the Stable Boots?
Winter conditions can be tough on horses’ legs. We wanted to provide a simple solution for horse owners to keep their horses comfortable when standing in the stable, but convenient to use too.
What material is used in the Stable Chaps?
The inner liner is made from a soft fabric which is particularly useful when the horse has come in from the field cold and wet or after exercise. It also ensures that the horse remains comfortable when left in the Stable Chaps overnight.
The outer fabric is smooth which helps to repel shavings, straw, dust, and dirt and is easy to clean and wash.
Why do the Stable Chaps fit so far down the leg?
For maximum coverage and protection, the Stable Chaps extend from below the knee/hock all the way down to the coronet band.
Who are the Stable Chaps for?
These stable boots are perfect for horse owners who would like to:
• Keep legs clean in the stable.
• Use an alternative to bandages without the faff.
• Provide compression for horses who experience filled legs.
• Help protect against knocks and scuffs in the stable.

The Equilibrium Magnetic Therapy range has long offered targeted support for legs and hocks – but knee coverage was a missing piece. We listened to feedback from customers and riders who wanted the same level of support for their horse’s forelegs. These new chaps were developed to complete the magnetic range, using our trusted dual-pole magnet design in a new ergonomic shape that stays in place and comfortably fits over the knee.
