How to Use the Quick Chill Dog Cooling Coat

The perfect solution to keep your dog cool and comfortable in warm weather. This advanced coat uses water-activated conduction technology to draw heat away from your dog’s body, helping to regulate temperature to keep them comfortable, without soaking them.

To try the coat on for size, we recommend soaking it to soften the material and get a more accurate view of the size of it on your dog. If you need to return it for an exchange, just ensure it is clean and dry before returning.

How to Activate the Quick Chill Cooling Coat

Step 1: Soak
Submerge the cooling coat in a bucket or sink of cool water until fully saturated. Alternatively pour water over from a bottle or under a tap.
Step 2: Wring
Gently wring out the excess water. The coat should feel damp, not dripping.
Step 3: Apply
Place the coat on your dog, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit for optimal cooling. We always recommend introducing new things slowly, particularly if your dog is not used to wearing coats.
On the Go:
If you’re heading out, you can activate the coat in advance and store it in a plastic bag to retain its moisture. It will stay ready for use later that day.
In Humid Conditions:
Keep in mind that high humidity can reduce evaporation, and therefore cooling effectiveness. Check the coat regularly and re-soak or remove as needed.
Re-activate as many times as needed.

How Long Should I Use The Cooling Coat For?

The Quick Chill Cooling Coat can be used for short cooling sessions (e.g. 10–15 minutes after exercise) or worn for longer periods at rest. The duration will vary depending on your dog’s size, coat type, activity level, and the ambient temperature.
