My horse has regular bodywork done, and I really appreciate the benefits of massage work. But inbetween his bodyworker's visits, he has to put up with me - and I'm not so competent.
I recently bought the Heatsense Massage Pad, and was so impressed that it only took one conversation about tight hamstrings (his, not mine) to have me clicking on this purchase.
It's really well made, just as I expected from Equilibrium. And it comes in handy storage pack to keep it clean and available.
Why didn’t I buy these nets sooner!! Definitely slows down feeding time. Excellent for my Shetland who has EMS & spends most of his time off grass. Provides longer periods of slow feeding, the net material dries out so no fermented hay odour. Well worth the money & will definitely buy more!!
Great service and communication. Would have liked a slightly quicker turnaround on returning the pad , as this item is an integral part of our daily routine, but would highly recommend regardless.
Good value , old style mat stopped working due to broken connection. 4 weeks later returned working. Happy horse.
My two old boys absolutely LOVE these. A great way to add extra taste and value to their night time mashes. Even better that, when soaked, the veg rehydrates a bit and makes it even easier for old teeth to manage.

As something which works quickly this is a great rug. As the weather hss been very hot this has worked really well for my horse.
There are lots of things I like about this fly rug. It is lightweight, fits well overall, and so far it seems to be doing the job. The belly flap is also a great feature and gives really good coverage.
There are just a few areas that could be improved. The back leg straps rubbed the hair off my horse’s legs after only three days, which was a shame, as his LeMieux rug does not do this. I removed the straps, but without them the rug did end up flipping over his back.
The belly flap itself is really useful, but the straps are very long. Even on the shortest setting, they are still not quite snug enough, so I will need to have them altered. My horse is not especially skinny, so a little more adjustment would be helpful.
There is also a small gap at the front, just above where the rug fastens, which leaves part of his body exposed. I can use fly spray there, of course, but it would be even better if that area had a little more coverage.
Overall, I do like the rug and there are some really good features, especially the lightweight feel and the belly protection. With a few tweaks to the straps and front coverage, it would be even better.
New style boots do not fit as well as the old ones - straps too short for my big warmblood

Great initiative to provide a service to repair & fix broken massage pads! This saved me having to purchase a new one completely & was fairly easy process to get fixed. Only let down is the communication , it would have been better to receive a email to say it had arrived and been received by the team. I heard nothing for around 4+ weeks , until it was being shipped back to me.
Fabulous fly mask! I have an array of fly masks as my boy has to wear them due to eye infections. This one from Equilibrium is the best yet as it lets his skin breathe. It fits perfectly (he's 17.1 and wearing a large) - its soft enough to be comfortable and the nose cover is perfect with the flies (although he's not keen on it over his nose but he gets used to it!).
There are cheaper fly masks but this one is well worth the money.
Works well at keeping my horse cool but very heavy when wet and difficult to wring out. You are basically wrestling a soaking wet rug onto your horse
Really pleased with the quality and performance of this rug. A useful addition to help our horses in the heat.

Good rug and provides great coverage but it seems to slip back on my horse and every day, I need to pull it forward. Nothing I can do about it due to lying down/rolling, but it is rubbing on his chest and tends to 'stick' more when Im trying to move it. Its a compromise between the flies and the coverage but Ill persevere at least for this summer season and see how I get on. The fillet string somehow didn't mange to stay in place during a windy day after a roll and the entire back was flapping in the wind (rug only stayed in place due to belly straps)so glad it came with the leg straps, but never had to use leg straps on any rug so don't know what happened there?!
Easy to attach to the flymask perfect for shorter puzzles and they stay put too.
Without question THE best. I have bought these for years. Excellent quality, do their job brilliantly, stay put, wash well, last for many summers and always affordable
Medium size. Cools well and stays moist for a good while, but would benefit from a second torso strap to stop the back end flopping from side to side.
I bought this rug having read the results of Dr David Marlin study on cooler rugs. I'm so impressed at how well it works.Fits beautifully on my horse, is easy to soak, put on, and then fold away. And in the heat, my hose-shy horse LOVES this being put on for ten minutes. It now lives in my trailer as an emergency kit item in the event of being stuck in stationary traffic on a hot day.
