Crafted with a high-tech, breathable open-cell material, the Quick Chill Dog Cooling Coat absorbs and retains water while allowing air to flow freely. This ensures efficient cooling without making your dog uncomfortably wet. Similar to how a sponge takes up water, the material within the coat takes up the water and holds it, then allows it to slowly evaporate over time.
Simple Activation
Just submerge the coat in water (ideally for a few minutes if the coat is fully dried out), wring out the excess, and place it on your dog. The coat’s cooling effect is activated by the water it holds.
Smart Heat Transfer & Breathability
By conduction and evaporation, the coat absorbs your dog’s body heat and disperses it, helping to maintain a cooler temperature.

When the air is already thick with moisture, water can't evaporate as well as in low humidity conditions. Here's a few tips on how to get the most out of your Quick Chill during spells of extreme heat and humidity (65%+):

Keep it short: Check and reactivate the rug more frequently - 10–15 minutes at a time.
Create a breeze: Using a fan to force air movement is the best way to kickstart evaporation when natural airflow is low.
Reset, don't just re-wet: Instead of pouring more water on the rug while it is worn, take the rug off, re-chill the rug in cold water ensuring it is thoroughly soaked, and reapply.
Do the hand check: Regularly slip your hand under the rug. If the skin feels hot and the rug feels warm, take it off immediately and re-chill.
