Sales and Marketing Executive

Location: Office based between Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Hours: Full time (Part time hours considered)

Salary - £25,000 – £29,000. Plus 10% performance bonus.

Equilibrium Products are on the lookout for an experienced Sales and Marketing Executive to support the Sales and Marketing team. Based near to Leighton Buzzard, Equilibrium Products champion the welfare of horses by developing innovative quality products that truly make a difference.

Reporting into the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for sales and marketing tasks to support the team with responsibilities such as (but not limited to):

  • Communication with our B2B customers, both within the UK and Internationally, with a sales and/or marketing aim
  • Distribution of newsletters, samples, catalogues and POS
  • Admin support for all aspects of the sales process
  • Attend and assist with the preparation of shows and events
  • Holiday cover for social media or any other communication platforms
  • Management of the LinkedIn platform

Essential skills we are looking for:

  • A bright, enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through various channels with other team members and with International and UK trade customers.
  • A professional manner.
  • Excellent computer skills, with programmes such as Microsoft Office.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a workload and take initiative.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Car owner and driver.
  • Willingness to travel for the purpose of attending shows and events, plus occasional customer visits. This role includes overnight stays and travel outside of the UK.

Desirable, but not essential, skills:

  • Knowledge of horses and the equestrian community.
  • Experience of B2B communication.
