  • How do these magnets work?

    The body’s cells have electromagnetic properties which means they can be affected by a magnetic field. The magnets used in our Magnetic Chaps for horses and present two alternating poles to the body, negative and positive, making them different to standard Neodymium magnets, which present only one pole. These strong, linear and permanent magnetic fields of alternating pole sequences penetrate into the body tissue.

  • Water Vapour Permeability - Breathability

    Our Magnetic Rug scored 1166.25 g/m²in WVP (Water Vapour Permeability) testing, which measures how much water vapour can pass through a material over a set period. This places it in the higher breathability range for rugs.

    A higher number means the material is more breathable, allowing moisture to escape instead of becoming trapped against the horse’s skin.

この製品は、71戦に出走して健康な状態で現役を引退した、
Equilibrium自慢の一頭、ジャックから着想を得ています。引退当時10歳だったジャックは、手持ち無沙汰になるといたずらばかりしたので、乗馬馬として再教育することが決まりました。しかし、ジャックは背中が非常に敏感で、誰かに触られるのを嫌がりました。そのため、夜は厩舎用ブランケットの下にマグネティック・ラグを装着し、日中はマッサージパッドを使用していました。その後、ジャックは2014年にEquilibrium本社で再び引退するまで、エンデュランスレースで非常に成功した（2回目の！）キャリアを歩みました。
